Equipo's Vladimiro Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Bezerra in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the game Enrique Guillelmus made a throw-in which Amado Matia played forward. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo AFC's zone, Amancio Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Nayely came out of the goal and Amancio Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Tambillo AFC defense, Amancio Astudillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Nayely. The Tambillo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Nayely should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Amancio Astudillo made the kick off in the second half. Narciso Nayely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amancio Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Vladimiro Firme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabino Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabino Bezerra in the 60th minute of the match. Romeo Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Sabino Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabino Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tambillo AFC booed when Equipo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Danel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tambillo AFC's Prudencio Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vladimiro Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jelmer Bust in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Torres in the 71st minute of play forced Tambillo AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Danel kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Equipo's Vladimiro Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Bezerra in the 85th minute of play. Tambillo AFC were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Equipo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Urtats took the corner. The corner led Tambillo AFC's Prudencio Urtats to fire away a dangerous shot which Vladimiro Firme despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Equipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Moise to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Sabino Bezerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Equipo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tambillo AFC had controlled the match.
