In the 24th minute Israel Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Arlo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Gimenez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Guido Franco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Despeñaderos booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Israel Rami didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46thth minute of the game Jacinto Gimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chacarita Juniors's Guido Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Jacinto Gimenez made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gaspar Mancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Eutropio got free with Lorenzo Arlo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guido Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Lorenzo Arlo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 91st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oscar Pedroso. When the referee ended the match the Despeñaderos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
