They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 56th minute, Defensores del cerro's Urbano Chabier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Axel Ståhlman. Axel Ståhlman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Axel Ståhlman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Ferran in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Defensores del cerro's Leopoldo Beltza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Axel Ståhlman. In the 71st minute, Paolo Ferran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Axel Ståhlman. The goal made the score 0-7. Axel Ståhlman came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del cerro's Paolo Ferran. But to his dismay, Paolo Ferran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. 83 minutes into the match, Socoscora's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Beltza came free, but Axel Ståhlman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Ståhlman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Beltza in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Socoscora booed when Defensores del cerro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mijat Ortner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Socoscora fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores del cerro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
