Rincón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 24th minute, Urbano Chabier made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Bernabel. Rincón FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Christian Dalmau took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eugenio Beliran. Eugenio Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 35 minutes into the game, Defensores del cerro's Leopoldo Beltza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Bernabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 44th minute, Nilton Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basilio Bernabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Ferran in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rincón FC's goalkeeper Basilio Bernabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Defensores del cerro getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Leopoldo Beltza hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del cerro's zone, Victor Shepherd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Beliran came out of the goal and Victor Shepherd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaias Iruinea's late challenge caught a Rincón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Iruinea helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Defensores del cerro got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Iruinea. Matias Cayo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Urbano Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Basilio Bernabel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Rincón FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tadeo Rocendo hit a great ball. The attack was good, but when Paolo Ferran in the 80th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Basilio Bernabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Iruinea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Bernabel came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del cerro's Urbano Chabier. But to his dismay, Urbano Chabier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 87th match minute, Defensores del cerro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Beltza to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores del cerro's zone, Christian Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Beliran came out of the goal and Christian Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iurie Levința's late challenge caught a Rincón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iurie Levința helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Defensores del cerro getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Iurie Levința hit a great ball. The Rincón FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores del cerro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
