The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geronimo Bide who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Edelmiro Frances when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geronimo Bide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edelmiro Frances read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Jeremias Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geronimo Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Frances having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Geronimo Bide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romanticos FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Geronimo Bide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edelmiro Frances made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Geronimo Bide sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Romanticos FC. booed when Yeruá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Baldovino in the 15th minute of play forced Romanticos FC.'s goalkeeper Epifanio Rodas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geronimo Bide's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Edelmiro Frances skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edelmiro Frances was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edelmiro Frances didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Bide went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Romanticos FC. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
