Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teofilo Formerio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Otto Halager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Benedicto Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jonatan Katia came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Alcaraz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Katia couldn't finish the play. Jonatan Katia came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anastasio Bingen could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Katia got free with Anastasio Bingen in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anastasio Bingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Lano in the 10th minute of the match. Teofilo Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Bingen having to interfere. Silvio Goizeder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Endira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Alcaraz got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Lano. Benedicto Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Locaio in the 20th minute of play. Anastasio Bingen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Formerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Benedicto Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Locaio in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Teofilo Formerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Bingen. Godoy Cruz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofilo Formerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Godoy Cruz's Anastasio Bingen got control of the ball when Jonatan Katia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Epifanio Lano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alcaraz and the Godoy Cruz players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Endira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Locaio in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvio Goizeder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Silvio Goizeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Isidoro Txartiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godoy Cruz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alcaraz the free kick. The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Cosme Bizen put in a rough tackle. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alcaraz! The referee gave Godoy Cruz a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomás Esquipula, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alcaraz's Benedicto Endira. 1-1. With a little luck, Alcaraz's Benedicto Endira got control of the ball when Apolo Locaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonatan Katia hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. If Jonatan Katia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcaraz's goalkeeper Benedicto Endira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Godoy Cruz were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
