After having played for 37 minutes, Martin Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matará FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Abar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Martxot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Vimaro in the 39th minute. Ricardo Martxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Vimaro in the 40th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cornelio Vimaro to make the kick off. Ramiro Rocio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Matará FC's Godfredo Rufio. But to his dismay, Godfredo Rufio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Bonnement were furious when Leo Mino was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonnement's goalkeeper Ramiro Rocio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramiro Rocio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Abar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Many of Matará FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Matará FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Bonnement were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
