Necochea AFC's Arnaldo Omero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enrique Etxepare, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Anastasio Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Astor Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Arnaldo Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charqui FC's Hermengildo Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Jerrold in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Necochea AFC's Astor Jerrold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Gorosti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Charqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Gabon to maneuver through the defense. Hermengildo Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Jerrold in the 27th minute of play. Astor Jerrold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Gorosti having to make a save. Astor Jerrold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Hermengildo Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Astor Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Charqui FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Agustin Gabon hit a great ball. Charqui FC's Hermengildo Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Jerrold in the 43rd minute of play. Astor Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Jerrold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Charqui FC's Hermengildo Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Jerrold in the 53rd minute of play. Astor Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Astor Jerrold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Necochea AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Jerrold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Gorosti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Jerrold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Hermengildo Gorosti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Charqui FC's goalkeeper Hermengildo Gorosti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Astor Jerrold who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Hermengildo Gorosti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Astor Jerrold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A well placed Astor Jerrold short distance shot in the 74th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. With a little luck, Charqui FC's Hermengildo Gorosti got control of the ball when Astor Jerrold tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Charqui FC's zone, Astor Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Gorosti came out of the goal and Astor Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 91 played minutes Necochea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Omero.
