Spectators: 7068 (Terracing: 5303, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Albano Vasco took the kick off in the first half of the match. El Borussia Canalla's Delmiro Chinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Florin in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, El Borussia Canalla's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Vasco came free, but Delmiro Chinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remigio Ishmael hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Delmiro Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Vasco in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, El Borussia Canalla's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Florin came free, but Delmiro Chinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, BANFIELD SUR.F.C's goalkeeper Christian Adrio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Toro. Leonides Jacob sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to BANFIELD SUR.F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Victoriano Florin hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, El Borussia Canalla's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Vasco came free, but Delmiro Chinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes, Hilario Toro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Borussia Canalla and the BANFIELD SUR.F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes El Borussia Canalla got a freekick which was hit by Armando Aballe. Delmiro Chinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Delmiro Chinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Vasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Bonadona in the 35th minute of play forced El Borussia Canalla's goalkeeper Delmiro Chinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Florin in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BANFIELD SUR.F.C's zone, Leonides Jacob stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Adrio came out of the goal and Leonides Jacob tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Jacob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Adrio having to interfere. Leonides Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Christian Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, El Borussia Canalla's Delmiro Chinto got control of the ball when Victoriano Florin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoriano Florin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Delmiro Chinto made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Victoriano Florin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delmiro Chinto. The goal made the score 0-1. El Borussia Canalla's Delmiro Chinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save El Borussia Canalla from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Leonides Jacob managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Borussia Canalla's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Jacob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmiro Chinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Quexal in the 75th minute of play. Albano Vasco took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Chinto. Delmiro Chinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, BANFIELD SUR.F.C's Ambrosio Berriotxoa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Leonides Jacob took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Adrio. Christian Adrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. BANFIELD SUR.F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
