Umea Gurruchaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristo Quinteros during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristo Quinteros hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Andalgalá's Umea Gurruchaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Grabiel in the 20th minute of play. Andalgalá's Umea Gurruchaga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Andalgalá from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Andalgalá getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alejandro Atarratze hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Ovidio Jokin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Umea Gurruchaga to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Andalgalá booed when River Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofilo Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seppe Schol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Ixona in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Manuel Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andalgalá's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Ixona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seppe Schol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Umea Gurruchaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Jokin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umea Gurruchaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. With a little luck, Andalgalá's Umea Gurruchaga got control of the ball when Ovidio Jokin tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pavel Zaharia to make the kick off. Pavel Zaharia hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ovidio Jokin sped through Andalgalá's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Umea Gurruchaga. In the 62nd minute, Andalgalá's Pavel Zaharia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Donato Sendoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Seppe Schol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Ovidio Jokin made a precise shot to the right of Umea Gurruchaga. Andalgalá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Umea Gurruchaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovanni Vieira in the 74th minute of play. Umea Gurruchaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Jokin in the 78th minute of the match. River Santa Fe's Seppe Schol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save River Santa Fe from getting a goal against them. Umea Gurruchaga came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by River Santa Fe's Ovidio Jokin. But to his dismay, Ovidio Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1.
