Batallón F.C.'s Gilberto Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clyde Grabiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Club Atlético Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Avellaneda. Jonathan Amor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Prospero Arnau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Belgrano's Leo Umbruso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ciriaco Avellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clyde Grabiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Rocendo having to make a save. Omar Rocendo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clyde Grabiel in the 36th minute of play. Omar Rocendo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clyde Grabiel's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Leo Umbruso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Buinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Clyde Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes Batallón F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Dacio. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clyde Grabiel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamim Mandrak got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leo Umbruso. Prospero Arnau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Amor in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clyde Grabiel got free with Omar Rocendo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Batallón F.C.'s goalkeeper Omar Rocendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clyde Grabiel. In the 61st minute, Jonathan Amor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batallón F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Club Atlético Belgrano's Prospero Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Amor in the 66th minute of play. Prospero Arnau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Buinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Santos Buinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79th play minutes Santos Buinton shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Prospero Arnau and just under the crossbar into goal. Clyde Grabiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batallón F.C.'s Omar Rocendo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clyde Grabiel in the 86th minute of play. In the 94th minute Jonathan Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Batallón F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Jurgi.
