The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Victorino Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iraizoz AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorino Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Aurken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Gaspard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ariel Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute Constantino Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Aurken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Esteve Lon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Iliana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Julio Gaspard cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ariel Aurken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Iraizoz AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Julio Gaspard hit a great ball. Iraizoz AFC's Erasmo Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Anier Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Erasmo Tajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Policarpio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ariel Aurken. C.A.BANFIELD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iraizoz AFC's Erasmo Tajo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Julio Gaspard made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Aurken. C.A.BANFIELD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Victorino Ponce came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Iraizoz AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Ponce couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Erasmo Tajo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Aurken was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Gaspard to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Gaspard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ariel Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Gaspard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ariel Aurken made a huge save. Clodoveo Loi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ariel Aurken came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Iraizoz AFC's Julio Gaspard. But to his dismay, Julio Gaspard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 80th minute, Julio Gaspard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iraizoz AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. 86 minutes into the match, Iraizoz AFC's Victorino Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ariel Aurken narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Gaspard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Aurken having to interfere. Julio Gaspard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iraizoz AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
