Jose Pietro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Lore in the 6th minute of play. If Diego Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pompeya FC's Gaspar Kimetz in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye la pantera azul's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Gaspar Kimetz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jose Pietro. Diego Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Quintas having to interfere. In the 21st minute Gaspar Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Pietro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pompeya FC's zone, Diego Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Quintas came out of the goal and Diego Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspar Kimetz took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Pietro. Jose Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 32ndth minute of the game Gaspar Lore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but la pantera azul's Jose Pietro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximiliano Polo's late challenge caught a la pantera azul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Polo helped the player get up and apologised. Maximiliano Polo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Gaspar Lore took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Pietro. Jose Pietro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 46 minutes, Dante Caitano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pompeya FC and the la pantera azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Dante Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Federigo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind la pantera azul's goalkeeper Jose Pietro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Pietro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Lore in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Pompeya FC's Gaspar Kimetz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jose Pietro. Jose Pietro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 64 minutes into the game, la pantera azul's Diego Federigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eugenio Quintas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Diego Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Gaspar Kimetz lined in a short shot 1-7 behind a frustrated Jose Pietro. Jose Pietro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaspar Lore's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Pompeya FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pompeya FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
