The throw-in from Eugenio Indalecio in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Taquimilán's Anastasio Chuan. After a defensive mix-up in Alcaraz's zone, Severino Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Torres came out of the goal and Severino Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Austin came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valentin Marcones could save by the left post. Valentin Marcones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Austin in the 18th minute. A collision led to Taquimilán getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Godofredo Cordarell hit a great ball. Matias Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Marcones having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Taquimilán's Gualterio Precioso got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Luis Cordearo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alcaraz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquimilán the free kick. Victor Otsoa lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Taquimilán:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alcaraz:s goal. Taquimilán:s Valentin Marcones showed great skill when he stopped Julio Oliverio:s penalty. Valentin Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ignacio Astigar made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taquimilán's Gualterio Precioso. Severino Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amadeo Cayo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Severino Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taquimilán's supporters rose to their feet, but Severino Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cecilio Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Cordearo made a kick off. In the 55th minute Luis Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Marcones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cecilio Torres having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Amadeo Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Cayo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cecilio Torres. Cecilio Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 69th minute, Amadeo Cayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alcaraz's Cecilio Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Cayo in the 80th minute of play. Eugenio Indalecio made in the 82nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Taquimilán's Anastasio Chuan. Cecilio Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Chuan in the 87th minute of play. If Severino Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taquimilán's Amadeo Cayo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Alcaraz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taquimilán were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
