Spectators: 6561 (Terracing: 5361, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Horacio Abalos made the kick off which started today's match. In the 2nd match minute, Electro Music was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. Roman Gaizkine charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Gaizkine the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Electro Music got a freekick which was hit by Roman Gaizkine. With his leg Julio Benvido managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Electro Music's Feliciano Tab fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliciano Tab's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Feliciano Tab had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Benvido. Newells Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Tab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Julio Benvido made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Roman Gaizkine sent off a good shot on target. Feliciano Tabs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Julio Benvido to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Tab got free with Julio Benvido in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Tab's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Julio Benvido skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Feliciano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Evangelista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Benvido having to interfere. If Feliciano Tab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Gaizkine was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 53 minutes of play, Electro Music's Feliciano Tab made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Benvido was left in no man's land by his defense there! Electro Music's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Feliciano Tab was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 64th minute Florencio Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Tab in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Electro Music got a freekick which was hit by Roman Gaizkine. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliciano Tab in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Benvido saved Newells Old Boys from getting behind. Feliciano Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 77 played minutes, Electro Music's Fabricio Christobal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Benvido came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Electro Music reached it. Newells Old Boys's Julio Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Tab in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Feliciano Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Newells Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Tab came free, but Julio Benvido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Etxatxu's late challenge caught a Electro Music's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Aurelio Etxatxu hit a great ball. Florencio Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Electro Music were the better team. Electro Music's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
