La Naranja Oxidada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 20 played minutes Jeronimo Donzel rounded Nieves's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Mario Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Naranja Oxidada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Rodriguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leonides Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nieves's zone, Jeronimo Donzel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Birjaio came out of the goal and Jeronimo Donzel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Mario Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leonides Birjaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Naranja Oxidada. With a little luck, Nieves's Leonides Birjaio got control of the ball when Benito Ralondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 75 minutes of play, La Naranja Oxidada's Jeronimo Donzel made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Birjaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Nieves's zone, Braulio Sotero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Birjaio came out of the goal and Braulio Sotero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, Mario Rodriguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonides Birjaio. Nieves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Rodriguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Leonides Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Donzel in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Rodriguez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Birjaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mario Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
