A collision led to Montoyiyo F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cornelio Atarrabi hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Cilio in the 28th minute of play forced Colastiné's goalkeeper Albino Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Hondo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Bruno Cabral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute, Nereo Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Astudillo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amador Cilio in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Astudillo saved Colastiné from getting behind. If Natalio Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Veremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Hondo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Astudillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amador Cilio in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Montoyiyo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Veremundo came free, but Bruno Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes, Natalio Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montoyiyo F.C. and the Colastiné players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Montoyiyo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Hondo in the 75th minute of the match. Bruno Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Hector Presebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Veremundo in the 82nd minute of play. Americo Hondo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Bruno Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colastiné. Colastiné's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
