Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) Montoyiyo F.C.'s Natalio Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bruno Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Hondo in the 4th minute of the match. Bruno Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Veremundo in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Montoyiyo F.C.'s zone, Americo Hondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Cabral came out of the goal and Americo Hondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Nereo Veremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Amador Cilio sped through Colastiné's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albino Astudillo. 22 minutes into the game, Colastiné's Americo Hondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Cabral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 30 minutes of play, Montoyiyo F.C.'s Amador Cilio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albino Astudillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Nereo Veremundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colastiné fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After 37 minutes, Benedicto Gabon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colastiné and the Montoyiyo F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benedicto Gabon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Nereo Veremundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natalio Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Albino Astudillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Colastiné getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Godfredo Fernendo hit a great ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nereo Veremundo in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nereo Veremundo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Montoyiyo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Nereo Veremundo scored to the left of an out of position Bruno Cabral, making the score, 2-3. 67 minutes into the game, Celso Lia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montoyiyo F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colastiné the free kick. After 67 played minutes Montoyiyo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celso Lia. 69 minutes into the match, Colastiné's Nereo Veremundo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Amador Cilio notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Colastiné's Albino Astudillo. Albino Astudillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Montoyiyo F.C. booed when Colastiné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Odon tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Albino Astudillo. An unnecessary self made goal, 4-3 in the 80th minute. Albino Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Amador Cilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Astudillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Nereo Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cabral having to interfere. Albino Astudillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colastiné players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montoyiyo F.C..
