Rodrigo Manuelo scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Intxixu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Teofilo Blai fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored maximo racinguista's protests and gave Teofilo Blai a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for maximo racinguista! Jeronimo Florin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ivan Olentzaro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ernesto Pinto made a huge save. Jeremias Blasi took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Pinto. Ernesto Pinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With a little luck, maximo racinguista's Ernesto Pinto got control of the ball when Aquilino Maiorga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Florin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Pinto having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Manuelo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Severino Victoro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. maximo racinguista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Victoro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernesto Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in maximo racinguista's zone, Jeronimo Florin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Pinto came out of the goal and Jeronimo Florin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Florin might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Pinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeronimo Florin ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Barrionuevo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. maximo racinguista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GAROMPAS FC the free kick. One of maximo racinguista:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of GAROMPAS FC:s goal. Jeronimo Florin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Ubaldo Barrionuevo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jeronimo Florin put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Pinto. Ernesto Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Florin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Rodrigo Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jeronimo Florin managed to get in a good position for a shot. GAROMPAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Florin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Pinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Pinto came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by GAROMPAS FC's Jeronimo Florin. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Florin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1.
