Lázaro Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Arturo Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Jerardo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Orlondo. 12 minutes into the match, CANDIOTI F.C.'s Lázaro Barrionuevo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Jerardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sílvio Luiz Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by CANDIOTI F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Fix was slow to take the kick. During this time C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's corner Artemio Fix fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sílvio Luiz Alvarenga quite easily take care of the ball. C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's Arturo Jerardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arturo Erramun fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's Melquiades Ruy got a free kick in the 30th minute. Leon Loco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Arturo Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Jerardo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benicio Tirso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. Esteban Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Arturo Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Sergio Errando tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arturo Jerardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leon Loco in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arturo Jerardo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Nazario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Conrado Sergi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Jerardo. C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Sergi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Arturo Jerardo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by CANDIOTI F.C.'s Leon Loco. But to his dismay, Leon Loco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 63 minutes into the game, Esteban Cordaryal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Arturo Jerardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lázaro Barrionuevo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes of play, CANDIOTI F.C.'s Conrado Sergi made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arturo Jerardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute Arturo Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arturo Jerardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. 17 DE OCTUBRE's Arturo Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Polentzi in the 79th minute of play. Alberto Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CANDIOTI F.C.'s Higinio Bacquet was substituted for Benicio Tirso. 88 minutes into the game, CANDIOTI F.C.'s Filiberto Gonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Jerardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CANDIOTI F.C. had played much better football throughout.
