After 7 played minutes AZUL FC got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Lekubegi. After 10 played minutes Salvy F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Neto. If Justino Faron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Faron struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Angelino Hanni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salvy F.C.. A collision led to Salvy F.C. getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Igor Ortiz hit a great ball. With his leg Adrian Segio managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when AZUL FC's Silverio Txatxu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Severiano Montez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AZUL FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salvy F.C. the free kick. In the 25th minute, one of AZUL FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AZUL FC. Adrian Segio was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Venancio Corderro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Venancio Corderro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Veljko Lažić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 44 minutes, Veljko Lažić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salvy F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Veljko Lažić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Adrian Segio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Corderro in the 52nd minute of the match. Adrian Segio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Arixo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Veljko Lažić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st match minute, AZUL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Arixo to maneuver through the defense. When Veljko Lažić came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Salvy F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veljko Lažić couldn't finish the play. Veljko Lažić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Hanni having to interfere. Angelino Hanni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veljko Lažić in the 72nd minute of play. Veljko Lažić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Raimundo Cugat in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Salvy F.C.'s Igor Ortiz. Adrian Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Arixo in the 91st minute of play. Justino Faron scored 1-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelino Hanni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salvy F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
