Alvaro Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of Gastres booed when LatinoAmerica Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Oriol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gastres's Teobaldo Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Gastres's Miguel Cordeara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Gastres's zone, Silverio Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Karmel came out of the goal and Silverio Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Elixio came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvaro Karmel could save by the left post. Rigoberto Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Cordeara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes, Gastres's Valentin Naelio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rigoberto Loi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gastres reached it. In the 67th minute, Teobaldo Joanes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Loi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Agustin Niguel hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, LatinoAmerica Futbol Club's Jeronimo Hermon got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Miguel Cordeara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LatinoAmerica Futbol Club made a substitution. Herminio Olentzaro replaced Godofredo Unax. Miguel Cordeara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Loi having to interfere. Rigoberto Loi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Cordeara went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Elias Elixio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Alvaro Karmel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. LatinoAmerica Futbol Club's Rigoberto Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Joanes in the 93rd minute of play. Elias Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Alvaro Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the LatinoAmerica Futbol Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gastres.
