Despite this Venancio Pelagius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 12thth minute of the game Jairo Orlanda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gasoducto AFC's Venancio Pelagius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jairo Orlanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Pelagius was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Venancio Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Orlanda in the 57th minute of the match. PUKI CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Satordi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute of the match, Jairo Orlanda tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Venancio Pelagius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Gasoducto AFC's zone, Cesar Satordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Pelagius came out of the goal and Cesar Satordi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Isidro Playo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gasoducto AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Isidro Playo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Oinatz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. A long shot from Eliseo Miro in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Venancio Pelagius made a really good save at the right post. PUKI CLUB's Clodoveo Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Playo in the 85th minute of play. Cesar Satordi came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Venancio Pelagius could save by the left post. In the 87th match minute, Gasoducto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. If Jairo Orlanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Gasoducto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Quilino to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Gasoducto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Orlanda came free, but Venancio Pelagius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The PUKI CLUB supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing PUKI CLUB would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
