Elias Florin's late challenge caught a Gowlan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Florin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to colon getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Elias Florin hit a great ball. colon's Isidro Artaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Moise in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, colon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gowlan getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Venancio Maraman hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Venancio Maraman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but colon's Isidro Artaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moises Faron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Osorio in the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes Gowlan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erubiel Jeraldo who took care of the corner kick. colon's Erubiel Jeraldo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Moises Faron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Isidro Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Maraman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Venancio Maraman might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Artaldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venancio Maraman ran back to his position shaking his head. colon's Elias Florin got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Elias Florin off the ground. A collision led to colon getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elias Florin hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Gauargi to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gowlan's Geronimo Aimar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Artaldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 56 minutes into the match, Gowlan's Venancio Maraman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Artaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Maraman in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Artaldo saved colon from getting behind. Vladimiro Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidro Artaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 86 minutes, Venancio Maraman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gowlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Venancio Maraman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Artaldo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gowlan's Venancio Maraman. But to his dismay, Venancio Maraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Venancio Maraman took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Artaldo. Isidro Artaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gowlan fully deserved thier win.
