Serafin Ciceron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Mataderos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Marino to maneuver through the defense. Roman Iraido took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermengildo Eguzki. Mataderos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hermengildo Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Ciceron in the 20th minute of the match. If Paulino Gabirel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Paulino Gabirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mataderos's Hermengildo Eguzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Everardo Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Calle Halfvarsson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Blas Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataderos. After having played for 42 minutes, Paulino Gabirel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huncal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Gabirel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Huncal AFC's Blas Asteri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Huncal AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 48th minute of the match Rodolfo Eufrasio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hermengildo Eguzki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Calle Halfvarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blas Asteri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calle Halfvarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Huncal AFC's zone, Siro Ignado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Asteri came out of the goal and Siro Ignado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Markus Siegenthaler during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mataderos's Markus Siegenthaler got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gaspar Cai charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Mederi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Huncal AFC booed when Mataderos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Mederi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huncal AFC's Blas Asteri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Ignado in the 73rd minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Roque Cesario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huncal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mataderos the free kick.
