Ubaldo Azeari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Pio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ubaldo Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Iker Pio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Ubaldo Azeari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA MAQUINA 1942's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Azeari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ubaldo Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Sabin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 45 minutes of play LA MAQUINA 1942's Serafin Jaen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Serafin Jaen kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Azeari made a kick off. Cristian Florinio in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rodolfo Chago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
