Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Aguirre to make the kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, C.A.Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Azeari came free, but Arturo Balendin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Rioja kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ubaldo Azeari in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arturo Balendin saved C.A.Estudiantes from getting behind. The LA MAQUINA 1942 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C.A.Estudiantes's performance. The match ended with a win for C.A.Estudiantes.
