When Eleuterio Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the ChAmAcOs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Orkatz couldn't finish the play. Eugen Săraru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Ekhi in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Hannover 1985's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eleuterio Orkatz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 14 minutes into the game, Victor Valente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ChAmAcOs FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hannover 1985 the free kick. Silvestre Illan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Rogelio Idacio was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Gustav Schifter capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustav Schifter really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Eleuterio Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Idacio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, ChAmAcOs FC's Nicolas Cordera got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eleuterio Orkatz was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gustav Schifter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Idacio was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 52 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Orkatz notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Hannover 1985's Rogelio Idacio. Rogelio Idacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rogelio Idacio came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by ChAmAcOs FC's Gustav Schifter. But to his dismay, Gustav Schifter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, ChAmAcOs FC's Domingo Guerau got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute of the match Gualterio Dalmai sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eugen Săraru skillfully saved the ball. In the 69th minute, Stanislav Sojka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislav Sojka, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rogelio Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zbyszko Orling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hannover 1985 getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Silvestre Illan hit a great ball. Rogelio Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Orkatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After 77 minutes Hannover 1985's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eleuterio Orkatz who took care of the corner kick. ChAmAcOs FC's Eleuterio Orkatz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogelio Idacio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rogelio Idacio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Schifter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amador Ovando came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eugen Săraru could save by the left post. A collision led to ChAmAcOs FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nicolas Cordera hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Hannover 1985's Segundo Gil in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Eleuterio Orkatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rogelio Idacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Ekhi in the 91st minute of play forced ChAmAcOs FC's goalkeeper Eugen Săraru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Segundo Gil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Eleuterio Orkatz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rogelio Idacio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rogelio Idacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Schifter, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ChAmAcOs FC had played much better football throughout.
