After 13 played minutes BOULEVARD 79 FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Giro. 22 minutes into the match, BOULEVARD 79 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Vitin came free, but Edgard Terciero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramon Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Artal having to interfere. Faustino Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to BOULEVARD 79 FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ramon Giro hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Tomás Chaime sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Edgard Terciero threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tomás Chaime this time. Delmar Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Tomás Chaime came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the FC Magno 1990 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Chaime couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Edgard Terciero made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Blas Iyan's late challenge caught a BOULEVARD 79 FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Iyan helped the player get up and apologised. After 61 played minutes FC Magno 1990 got a freekick which was hit by Blas Iyan. FC Magno 1990's Saverio Artal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Nofre in the 67th minute of play.
