Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benjamin Otsoko started the match with the kick off. Prodan Sokol were furious when Teofilo Tibalt was red carded, 4 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Prodan Sokol:s Cristo Rey showed great skill when he stopped Honorio Pagomari:s penalty. Denis Frasquito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basilio Aguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Jacobo Chago notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tambillo's Basilio Aguirre. Basilio Aguirre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Benjamin Otsoko came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Prodan Sokol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Otsoko couldn't finish the play. If Benjamin Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tambillo booed when Prodan Sokol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Frasquito, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Jacobo Chago came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Prodan Sokol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Chago couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Otsoko might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Aguirre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Otsoko ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Jon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Benjamin Otsoko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prodan Sokol's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Otsoko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Aguirre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute of the match Honorio Pagomari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristo Rey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Basilio Aguirre made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Fernan Ferran sent off a good shot on target. Cristo Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Toribio in the 60th minute of play. Fernan Ferran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Basilio Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Ruy to maneuver through the defense. Cristo Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Lon in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Fernan Ferran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goalkeeper Basilio Aguirre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denis Frasquito. Benjamin Otsoko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Frasquito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Aguirre having to interfere. Basilio Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Otsoko in the 91st minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Prodan Sokol left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tambillo.
