In the 3rd minute, Napoleón FC's Ulises Esquipula ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pablo Mincho. Pablo Mincho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho got control of the ball when Ulises Esquipula tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Aristides Isusko reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pablo Mincho. The goal made the score 2-0. Pablo Mincho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Isusko in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Ciénega FC's goalkeeper Pablo Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulises Esquipula. A collision led to Ciénega FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cirilo Sanson hit a great ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Ulises Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napoleón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Esquipula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pablo Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Joseph in the 21st minute of play. Ciénega FC's Zeledon Lon got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Ciénega FC from getting a goal against them. When Cirilo Sanson fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciénega FC's protests and gave Cirilo Sanson a yellow card for diving instead. Napoleón FC's Ulises Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Isusko in the 29th minute of play. Pablo Mincho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Esquipula went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ramiro Guib hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Pablo Mincho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Isusko in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Napoleón FC's Isidoro Fernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Pablo Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Isusko in the 46th minute of play. Ulises Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Pablo Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aristides Isusko made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Esquipula in the 55th minute of play forced Ciénega FC's goalkeeper Pablo Mincho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Guib charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Guib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Esquipula in the 59th minute of play. Pablo Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Esquipula's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Aristides Isusko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Mincho. Ciénega FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Isusko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Ulises Esquipula notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho. Pablo Mincho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Nuxila kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Pablo Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Fernandez in the 75th minute of play. Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Joseph in the 77th minute of play. After 79 minutes of play, Napoleón FC's Aristides Isusko made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pablo Mincho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Ulises Esquipula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pablo Mincho. Ciénega FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Esquipula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Esquipula in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Mincho saved Ciénega FC from getting behind. In the 91st minute, Ulises Esquipula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciénega FC's Pablo Mincho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Esquipula in the 94th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Zeledon Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciénega FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Lon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aristides Isusko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Napoleón FC were the better team. Napoleón FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
