Olascoaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Swain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Vachon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th match minute, Madariaga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Burni to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Marcelo Policarpio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisito Vachon. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 45th minute, Silvio Basajaun made a precise shot to the right of Luisito Vachon. Madariaga AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernabe Orkatz to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goalkeeper Bruno Ursino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Gaztea. Luisito Vachon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olascoaga's Bruno Ursino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Olascoaga from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Rigoberto Swain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olascoaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Swain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Vachon came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Olascoaga's Silvio Basajaun. But to his dismay, Silvio Basajaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 83rd match minute, Olascoaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. Olascoaga's Efrain Oxarra was substituted for Paulo Havier. In the 84th minute, Conrado Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, Olascoaga's goalkeeper Bruno Ursino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Gaztea. A collision led to Madariaga AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Maximiliano Gonzales hit a great ball. Luisito Vachon came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Olascoaga's Rigoberto Swain. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Swain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Silvio Basajaun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernabe Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Ursino having to interfere.
