Shanghai Crows FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Bibiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Shanghai Crows FC's Ignacio Marcones proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Shanghai Crows FC from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 25 in the game by Gavino Bibiano from a close distance when the talented Ignacio Marcones managed to make a qualified save. Shanghai Crows FC's players were relieved. If Gavino Bibiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Depayse's Gerardo Estebano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ignacio Marcones. That made the score 2-0 after 40 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cirilo Jakes to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Shanghai Crows FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Florentino Oriche hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Jakes in the 60th minute of play forced Depayse's goalkeeper Patricio Marino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Bibiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Marcones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Bibiano in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Depayse booed when Shanghai Crows FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Iraido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes Shanghai Crows FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Matthew. After a defensive mix-up in Shanghai Crows FC's zone, Gavino Bibiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacio Marcones came out of the goal and Gavino Bibiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignacio Marcones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Bibiano went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Robustiano Frechoso's late challenge caught a Depayse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robustiano Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Pedro Matthew hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Marcones came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Depayse's Bernabe Gomez. But to his dismay, Bernabe Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 95 played minutes Depayse got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Estebano. There was no doubt that Depayse were the better team. Depayse's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
