Gilson Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amado Atarratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Soria in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Momias FC's Amado Atarratze got control of the ball when Gilson Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, Hans Hansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amado Atarratze. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 21st minute, Canalla Thunder's Gilson Campidelis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Honorio Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Donzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th play minute Gilson Campidelis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Amado Atarratze. 3-1. Amado Atarratze was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Gilson Campidelis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilson Campidelis really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The supporters of Momias FC booed when Canalla Thunder was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sansón Mac Lean didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Momias FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Juan Donzel hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hans Hansson made the kick off in the second half. Hans Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Canalla Thunder's Matías Soria got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Canalla Thunder's Honorio Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Donzel in the 64th minute of play. David Sotil struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Honorio Caetano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Momias FC. In the 68th minute Hans Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Atarratze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Momias FC's Celso Gorbea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celso Gorbea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Momias FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celso Gorbea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gilson Campidelis took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amado Atarratze. Amado Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 80 minutes into the match, Matías Soria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Atarratze. Momias FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Soria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilson Campidelis in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Atarratze saved Momias FC from getting behind. After 89th play minutes Hans Hansson shot 7-1, a short shot which went by Amado Atarratze and just under the crossbar into goal. After a defensive mix-up in Momias FC's zone, Gilson Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Atarratze came out of the goal and Gilson Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Canalla Thunder players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
