In the 12thth minute of the game Mark Farrugia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huelén's Saverio Fidele was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saverio Fidele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mark Farrugia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Electromekanica Fc's Leandro Palban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saverio Fidele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 30 played minutes, Electromekanica Fc's Rodrigo Maiorga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saverio Fidele came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Electromekanica Fc reached it. 32 minutes into the match, Electromekanica Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Montrel came free, but Aristides Birjaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Fidele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Ponc in the 34th minute of play. If Mark Farrugia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Oto fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Electromekanica Fc's protests and gave Primitivo Oto a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Electromekanica Fc got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Oto. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Farrugia in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Fidele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primitivo Oto might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saverio Fidele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Oto ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Farrugia was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Birjaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Gelmiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Aristides Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Nuno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Huelén getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gonzalo Fonda hit a great ball. Aristides Birjaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Nuno in the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Mark Farrugia put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Fidele. After 88 played minutes Electromekanica Fc got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Palban. In the 92nd minute Mark Farrugia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Fidele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Electromekanica Fc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
