The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Adan Calisto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Froilan Salomone to make any attempt to save it. Prospero Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ezequiel Gelacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chorro's Ciriaco Diaz got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Izel hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, Prospero Barea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ezequiel Gelacio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Gelacio having to interfere. If Prospero Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciriaco Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Calisto in the 35th minute of play forced Chorro's goalkeeper Froilan Salomone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Prospero Barea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ezequiel Gelacio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Franco Canadiense getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Victorio Lore hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st match minute, Franco Canadiense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Bernaldo to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Gelacio made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Prospero Barea sent off a good shot on target. If Prospero Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Prospero Barea came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Chorro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Barea couldn't finish the play. Chorro's Froilan Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Gelmiro in the 58th minute of play. Prospero Bareas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Ezequiel Gelacio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 62nd minute, Franco Canadiense's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Prospero Barea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ciriaco Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Gelacio having to interfere. If Cipriano Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Prospero Barea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 69th minute, Cipriano Izel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Ciriaco Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Diaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Prospero Barea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Franco Canadiense's Victorio Lore got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Prospero Barea might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ezequiel Gelacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Barea ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Izel struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ezequiel Gelacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorro. After 95 played minutes Franco Canadiense got a freekick which was hit by Siro Beltxe. Chorro's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
