In the 22nd minute Prospero Barea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Gonchan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When Ciriaco Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chorro fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simonas Borgaila to make the kick off.
