Acuña FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nemesio Fidele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Cloyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Cloyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Fidele in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match, Nemesio Fidele tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Cloyo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matachivo's Joel Cloyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Matachivo from getting a goal against them. Joel Cloyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemesio Fidele's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Luciano Txatxu took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Peter. Mauro Peter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Acuña FC's Nemesio Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nemesio Fidele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joel Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Ugaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. If Nemesio Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosendo Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Joel Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Gaudencio Fonda made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Acuña FC's goalkeeper Mauro Peter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobo Sengrat. Rosendo Ugaitz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Cloyo. Joel Cloyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 57th minute, Acuña FC's Justino Cisco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Justino Cisco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Acuña FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Justino Cisco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Acuña FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Matachivo:s goal. Joel Cloyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Rocendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, German Rocendo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Cloyo. Matachivo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that German Rocendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. If German Rocendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Cloyo having to interfere. Rosendo Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joel Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
