Roman Xabel started the match with the kick off. Silverio Isias struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Placido Laurendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SporT CluB C.F.. Neeme Voit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Benigno Selmo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Placido Laurendi firmly grabbed it by the left post. 12 minutes into the match, Benigno Selmo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Placido Laurendi, 2-0. Benigno Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Laurendi having to interfere. If Roman Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SporT CluB C.F. booed when Yaretayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Ekaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. SporT CluB C.F.'s Neeme Voit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Feliu in the 30th minute of play. Neeme Voit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pablo Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benigno Selmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Laurendi having to interfere. Benigno Selmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, SporT CluB C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Roman Xabel came free, but Neeme Voit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Isias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yaretayo getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Leonel Primo hit a great ball. Silverio Isias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Selmo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the SporT CluB C.F. defense, Adolfo Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neeme Voit. The SporT CluB C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neeme Voit should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes of play, SporT CluB C.F.'s Silverio Isias made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Laurendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Placido Laurendi came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by SporT CluB C.F.'s Silverio Isias. But to his dismay, Silverio Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Placido Laurendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Isias's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Neeme Voit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Arias in the 91st minute. Benigno Selmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Laurendi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Isias in the 95th minute of play forced Yaretayo's goalkeeper Placido Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaretayo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
