To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Manex didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Argi went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Florin in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Manex saved Yacanto from getting behind. If Jeremy Anderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Yacanto getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Remigio Esdras hit a great ball. Yacanto's Herminio Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Florin in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Cleto Vela sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Herminio Manex skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximino Endura to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Catedra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Pello came free, but Saul Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Florin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 93rd minute, one of Catedra FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Catedra FC. Catedra FC:s Saul Furman showed great skill when he stopped Fermin Rik:s penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Endura in the 98th minute of play forced Catedra FC's goalkeeper Saul Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yacanto's Herminio Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Florin in the 100th minute of play.
