Isaias Gustau started the match with the kick off. Boca Juniors's Remigio Gimenez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gaston Dominix, made in the 2nd minute of the game. If Eugenio Fonda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Matxin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casimiro Ignado came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Matxin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Lucio Barto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lino Micael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Ramirez in the 21st minute of the match. Casimiro Ignado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Fagildo in the 22nd minute. Lino Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lino Micael came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Lucio Barto. But to his dismay, Lucio Barto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Florinio Camilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of India MVD booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Natanael didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Pero in the 43rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Casimiro Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, India MVD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vedillo Valpuesta to maneuver through the defense. Boca Juniors's Ramiro Ganix couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for India MVD. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucio Barto in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Micael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florinio Camilo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Florinio Camilo managed to get in a good position for a shot. India MVD's supporters rose to their feet, but Florinio Camilo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florinio Camilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Casimiro Ignado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. India MVD made a substitution. Ciro Teofilio replaced Jimeno Fagildo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Teofilio in the 65th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Casimiro Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Barto. Lucio Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Micael having to interfere. Boca Juniors's Casimiro Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Matxin in the 76th minute of play. Lucio Barto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Lino Micael skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lino Micael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. India MVD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
