Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Angel Senon started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Linhares came free, but Fausto Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Artur Linhares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fausto Orlanda, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Uhin during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Club El Porvenir got a freekick which was hit by Omar Uhin. Celedonio Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Senon in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Angel Senon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atletico Talleres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Celedonio Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Kelemen in the 20th minute of the match. Albano Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club El Porvenir fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Club El Porvenir's Albano Demesio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 28 minutes, Angel Senon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Talleres and the Club El Porvenir players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, Angel Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Artur Linhares in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Orlanda saved Club Atletico Talleres from getting behind. Arnaldo Estefan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Fausto Orlanda made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Artur Linhares sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute, Elvio Unax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Porvenir's zone, Joaquin Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Nerio came out of the goal and Joaquin Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Nerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joaquin Kelemen went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Celedonio Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Senon in the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Artur Linhares made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Linhares in the 56th minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Fausto Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albano Demesio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Damian Bonadona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Club El Porvenir booed when Club Atletico Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Senon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Nerio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alfredo Steven. In the 71st minute Angel Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Artur Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club El Porvenir fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Demesio in the 80th minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Fausto Orlanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Montes's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Montes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, David Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Talleres's Joaquin Kelemen got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th match minute, Club El Porvenir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Uhin to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Joaquin Kelemen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Kelemen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
