But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Ponc couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Quijana FC's Antonio Diagur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolfo Eliazar. That made the score 1-1 after 61 minutes of play. Nepes AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Antonio Diagur scored to the left of an out of position Adolfo Eliazar, making the score, 1-2. Gaston Manex charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Manex the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quijana FC booed when Nepes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th match minute, Nepes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Manex to maneuver through the defense. If Teofilo Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match was over Quijana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nepes AFC throughout the match.
