Ubajay AFC's Ahmet Davutoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, 11 ANIMALES FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Salvatore to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes Norberto Marcos rounded 11 ANIMALES FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Norberto Marcos might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zacarias Intxixu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After having played for 63 minutes, Karl Mayer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubajay AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Mayer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacarias Intxixu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Mayer in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Havier in the 65th minute of play forced 11 ANIMALES FC's goalkeeper Zacarias Intxixu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, 11 ANIMALES FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Mayer came free, but Zacarias Intxixu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
