Porvenir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Fantini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Francisco Nuxila hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Porvenir's Virgilio Ruisko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enzo Dimo, made in the 19th minute of the game. Denis Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Moreno's Feliciano Ayala got a free kick in the 28th minute. Denis Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Fantini in the 40th minute of play forced Porvenir's goalkeeper Dante Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Niceto Luix sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dé Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Fanuco having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Deportivo Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Quinten to maneuver through the defense. In the 66thth minute of the game Niceto Luix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvenir's Dante Fanuco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 2-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Niceto Luix elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Porvenir's zone, Niceto Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Fanuco came out of the goal and Niceto Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Artemio Savion in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Porvenir's Ivan Sandalio. Porvenir's Dante Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Luix in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Dé Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dé Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Ondino might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickael Zevenhuizen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Ondino ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Moreno fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porvenir had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
