Teodelina's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Ovando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Candido Jakue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 10 minutes, Rene Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amaná FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amaná FC's Candido Jakue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Amaná FC from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Amaná FC's goalkeeper Candido Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Ovando. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Justo Savier made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Amaná FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Teobaldo Ilazki hit a great ball. Candido Jakue came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Teodelina's Justo Ovando. But to his dismay, Justo Ovando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Justo Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Jakue having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Ovando in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Jakue saved Amaná FC from getting behind. Justo Ovando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patricio Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Teodelina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Ostadar couldn't finish the play. Carlos Bizen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Savier, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Justo Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Candido Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Teodelina fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amaná FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
