Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucio Venceslao got the match started through his kick off. Los Pibes's Teobaldo Corderun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Frans in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Los Pibes booed when Frontera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Lamberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Sugar in the 8th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Aquiles Galtero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frontera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Galtero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Frans in the 19th minute of play forced Los Pibes's goalkeeper Teobaldo Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Frans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teobaldo Corderun made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Aquiles Galtero sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Elias Loren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Frontera's Dario Lamberto. Dario Lamberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victorio Franss short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Teobaldo Corderun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 34th play minutes Victorio Frans shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Teobaldo Corderun and just under the crossbar into goal. Victorio Frans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Corderun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Roman Sugar kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Moises Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frontera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Pibes's zone, Victorio Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Corderun came out of the goal and Victorio Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Victorio Frans made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Frontera booed when Los Pibes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Venceslao didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Pibes's Fabio Garaile got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Aquiles Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Frans in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Bernardino Gentza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59thth minute of the game Victorio Frans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Pibes's Teobaldo Corderun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute, Roman Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 67 minutes on the clock, Fidel Eufemio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 66 minutes into the game, one of Frontera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Frontera:s Dario Lamberto showed great skill when he stopped Maximiliano Kaiet:s penalty. In the 69th minute, Maximiliano Kaiet ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Lamberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the Los Pibes defense, Aquiles Galtero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Corderun. The Los Pibes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Corderun should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute Aquiles Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antonio Obeko came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Frontera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Obeko couldn't finish the play. Aquiles Galtero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Corderun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Aquiles Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Los Pibes's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Bartolome came free, but Teobaldo Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Antonio Obeko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frontera's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Obeko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Corderun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Frontera players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
