Spectators: 5140 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Casimiro Pudes started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes in the game, Casimiro Pudes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Victor Maura having to interfere. In the 6th minute Casimiro Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Piero Göttling during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A long shot from Segundo Bernad in the 17th minute of play was well struck, but Victor Maura made a really good save at the right post. Roberto Rodriguez scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herminio Maule, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 29 minutes into the game, Casimiro Pudes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Maura. Casimiro Pudes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Roberto Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Herminio Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Maule came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mulitas's Roberto Rodriguez. But to his dismay, Roberto Rodriguez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 43rd minute Roberto Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Casimiro Pudes came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the AZM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Pudes couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Roberto Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AZM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mulitas were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelino Paio made a kick off. Geronimo Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Herminio Maule. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Herminio Maule made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Rodriguez in the 60th minute. AZM's Herminio Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save AZM from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Feliciano Fidensio fired a really elegant long shot, but Herminio Maule threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Roberto Rodriguez could shoot a difficult shot in the 68th minute, which Herminio Maule however easily saved by the left post. After 69 played minutes AZM got a freekick which was hit by Piero Göttling. Casimiro Pudes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Victor Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Paio's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Herminio Maule made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Roberto Rodriguez sent off a good shot on target. Casimiro Pudes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Victor Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AZM. Victor Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Pudes in the 86th minute of the match. Marcelino Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Herminio Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, AZM's goalkeeper Herminio Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Rodriguez.
