With a left leg Boleslaw Zbydniowski saved Club Alberdi from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, ⚽ Maite FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Orzaize had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Rico. 34 minutes into the game, Conrado Richie lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ernesto Orzaize. Ernesto Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Fidencio in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Ek in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Alberdi's goalkeeper Boleslaw Zbydniowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgardo Rico's late challenge caught a ⚽ Maite FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Rico helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes Club Alberdi got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Rico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Ek in the 48th minute of play forced Club Alberdi's goalkeeper Boleslaw Zbydniowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Ove Ek made the kick off in the second half. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind ⚽ Maite FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Orzaize, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The coaching staff of Club Alberdi protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Armando Faso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 86 minutes into the game, one of Club Alberdi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
