Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustavo Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Platon, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Diego Donostia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapebicuá's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Donostia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tapebicuá's Everardo Peio got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Donostia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Everardo Peio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, Fernan Platon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Astica AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Silverio Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Peio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Melquiades Urdin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Tartalo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Astica AFC! The referee gave Tapebicuá a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eugenio Ibon, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Astica AFC's Melquiades Urdin. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Donostia in the 57th minute of play forced Astica AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Peruanton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Eduardo Peruanton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Astica AFC's zone, Everardo Peio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Urdin came out of the goal and Everardo Peio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Astica AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Beltza to maneuver through the defense. Astica AFC's Melquiades Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Donostia in the 87th minute of play. If Everardo Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Diego Donostia notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Astica AFC's Melquiades Urdin. Melquiades Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Peio in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapebicuá fully deserved thier win.
